They're really picking on flatbeds this year as the emphasis is on load securement.
Make sure there's no cuts in the straps

 

That won't get you around but will get you beside it. They run through the ditch I been told. It's a ways around but exit 98 to Sheridan, then head to 530.

Lincoln scales on 80 in Nebraska were both open doing inspections but no more than normal.

 

Corbin KY scales were back to regularly scheduled programming it appeared.. not much activity. Guess I'll find out if NC decided to join the fun next

 

The drivers that were getting inspected at EB Benton at 02:00 this morning, were the drivers that ran the scale. The DOT was waiting on them.

Just pulling into the scale greatly reduces your odds of inspection at that location.

 

You mean ran it at hope?

That doesn't sound right.

 

EB Hope was closed. That little used inspection station at about the 111 was open for business.
