I'm OTR and run 48 states and Canada. Sure I go to lots of places, but I only get to *see* whatever is near to the highways and various commercial and industrial warehouse districts.
Going to same places everyday may be boring, but that also means you don't have the uncertainty of knowing where you will be from day to the next, whether you will find parking for that night and you won't be dealing with a variety of people, some of whom stink way more than that fishy truck.
I like OTR, it works for me for now. At some point in my future I can see the need for the more stable pace that something like linehaul with set routes offers, even if that means buying Febreeze in bulk.
I don't want to slip seat anymore.

Well, I agree with the poster who suggested you spend at least a year in your current job! It'll give you more experience, but more to the point is it will give you some stability on your resume and job applications.
It's very good that you are currently driving. It's usually easier to get a job, if you are currently employed.Just passing by, Dave_in_AZ, G13Tomcat and 2 others Thank this. -

Some drivers like predictability in a job such as that, but it can also turn you into a bitter old man at an early age.
Calex Logistics does lots of west coast runs if you want to see more of the country.
Magnum ltd.
Abilene Motor Express
Freymiller - new grads and drivers with less than 6 mos. experience will go through the "Restore Program". You'll see the country and ride in style.Last edited: Jun 9, 2017

I buy the plastic can of great value(Walmart brand) disinfectant wipes every other week. Every morning I use 3-6 wipes hitting everything in the cab im planning to touch that day, because the night drivers slipseat.
But at least I've never found food in the truck, just lots of spilled soda and stickiness lol.Rusty Trawler, tlalokay, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this.
