Has anyone here run for freymiller under your own authority? I've been pulling a flat but it's getting really slow and no one will lease me on because of age (22). I don't own the flatbed or I'd be running brokers. I live in OKC where Freymiller is based out of and wondering if anyone on here has run their authority with them and if so, how they were doing. My uncle ran company for them for a few years and had awesome miles. I just need somewhere that'll keep me busy without going hungry and I can keep the truck in good shape.
All of my bills per month total 3k so I don't have to clear a ton just enough to have a breakdown account and pay for the truck.
I have a 96 379 (they don't care how old the truck is, I've already checked) with an N14 and my payment is $400 a month through my bank. My insurance is going to be high for another year until I turn 23 next June.
I had talked to a man running his own with them last night at the truck wash and he seemed to be doing well. He said he likes it and is doing pretty well. The Qualcomm is only for messages, you can run whatever kind of log you want to. He said I'd be alright for what I need.
Basically what I'm wanting to know is will it keep me moving and will i do alright with it? I don't need a rainbows end, just something to get going. I have a great reefer broker one of my friends sent my way so I'd like to buy a trailer but for now will settle to pull theirs. I've read through the thread a few years back on someone who was doing the same but never did a follow up on how they were doing with them.
