    hey there,
I have a 2013 freightliner cascadia. My truck started showing codes for my def pump and I know my issue is my def pump harness wiring. Every time it rains these codes come up but this time it isn't going away and my truck will soon be degrading to 5miles per hour after 1000 miles. I'm at about 800 right now. So I was wondering that if I were to get the codes cleared will it reset the system to start from the beginning so that I could make it further to my destination? Or will it still be roughly 200 miles until it starts degrading.
    Thanks

You can unplug the speed sensor on the tail shaft of the transmission in a pinch. It will let the truck run normally, sometimes ungoverned, but you won't have the odometer or speedometer working. However it will keep you being on the side of the road going five miles an hour. It will also affect the way your Qualcomm recognizes the truck's movement, but it's mainly to override the de-rate 5 mph issue.

Maybe having the problem fixed would help.

Inspect for water intrusion in the connectors by the def pump AND the transmission tunnel.
