Hi. I need to re and re my 2010 Volvo D16 head. I have done Detroit heads in the past, is there anything I need to watch out for doing a Volvo head?
I have low compression one one hole, and something just went through my turbo.
Thanks

Ok some thing went throu the turbo.... What was it? Are you sure it was a head problem?
-
I don't know what it was. Really messed the turbo. I'm assuming a piece of the valve since I have had problems with hole number 2 for some time now. The compression is in the high 90's in all other holes and number 2 is around 55. What is your thought?
Thanks -
Yeah I would think a head. You have to make sure you have the correct torque pattern.

Ya me too. Not looking forward to it. I have tried to locate some literature regarding the D16 head removal with no luck. Any suggestions?
