One thing to make sure is if you plan on leasing on to a company that they allow leased trucks. We can't have leased trucks where I am, must be a purchase.

I bought mine at Arrow, it was financed by Transport Funding (practicing Usury - 16% is no issue for them, which did motivate me to pay it off early). It was a gamble, most of the staff they sell is a demobilized equipment from large fleets but at least they did let me take it for a day to do some tests and get opinions from a mechanic. No restrictions what I do with it after purchase.
Anyway, the price and money I have spent on the truck so far would not be that far off from what I would have paid, had I bought a brand new. The major difference is that I can park it anytime and not sweat too much since there is no payment of $2500 looming every month. -
Went with Arrow on a former Prime 2014 Cascadia with Apu and all the bells and whistles. Been a great truck so far !

You can sign on to anyone or have your own authority im pretty sure. I know they give 500 off the down payment amount if your leasing to landstar. I got a screen shot list of trucks in their inventory from each location from my sales rep. The truck I picked they put new bags shocks clutch other stuff mud flaps they seem to try to make sure the trucks are in good condition before you leave. And I believe once you settle on a truck you want and you take it to get inspected if your inspection shows any repairs are needed I believe They fix it for you. I 'll be getting my truck a full inspection and if I discover something major it will be fixed or I won't be buying it. They have a 5 bay mechanic Shop and it's busy. Its my first truck the prices seem similar to bank financing i think it works out to 10percent annually. Its good for a first buy and you don't have to put a huge down payment. They don't have sales people there more like customer service and I don't think they know much about trucks the sales people that is. I think they like landstar because they front repair money. You have to buy gap Insurance to cover the diffrence of what you financed so if the truck cash price is 50 and you financing works out to be 65 gap is Insurance for the 15. I think
