I have no idea if sprint is a viable coast to coast. I have no plans to find out. YOU have no idea who sprint is either.

You haven't used anybody but verizon for how many years now? You have no idea how ALL 4 carriers have expanded their coverage the past couple of years. .

 

You assume too much.

I had a Sprint phone up until 3 yrs ago. They have not magically changed in 3 yrs. They are still #3. Fact.

All anyone needs in order to make an educated decision when they are looking for mobile carrier with network coverage where they need it.

Compare Sprint to Verizon,.. it tells me all I need to know.

You some how hold on to your fantasy that Sprint is the end all defacto mobile carrier standard by which all other should follow. Sorry to disapoint you. They are #3 for a reason. When they become #1, then I'll sign up. Till then I will stay with the one who is #1. Verizon.

Wtf? I've never had a phone bill under 185 with sprint. It's actually just over 220 after all the bs.

 

I'm with sprint and if i get of the interstate my data is so unreliable it might as well not be usable. Sure it does fine in the more populated regions. That doesn't help me when I'm going up 287 I west texas. Heck 95 between Savannah and st george its unusable. Freaking Interstate 95 and no data.

 

I'm not having much of a problem. For the most part. I go out to farmers in the boonies.

287 for me was half and half with either carrier.

Went to a concert last night. sprint did better then Verizon ever did but neither work as good as tmo or att.

 

I'm specifically talking about data. Not voice. obviously voice is needed to, but data is what makes me money.

 

Don't know what to tell you. Not even Verizon is perfect.

 

No one ever said Verizon is perfect.

Only stating the fact that Verizon's signal coverage is 9x the size of what Sprint has. Also Verizon's gsm+cdma= greater than Sprints cdma only. CDMA is notorious for losing signal inside of buildings because cdma does not go through walls as well as gsm signals do.

Basically if all a driver does is local or regional work, chances are he will be fine with Sprint. But for someone like me who goes otr and could end up anywhere. Verizon is the better choice.

Got to find what best suits your needs

I went from a pre paid Verizon phone with a Verizon jetpack with 20gb data and a pre paid Tracfone to cover areas that Verizon did not have a signal

Now i have T-Mobile for the family and with my line i pay $25 for the hotspot which also gives me free international calls and i ring overseas a lot
I never thought i would use much data after being restricted with a 20gb cap on the jet pack and not wanting to pay for overages
But now with T-Mobile and the hotspot i have a roku connected to it and watch all my Hulu, Netflix and Amazon on the TV
In 4 months with T-Mobile data for my phone has been 50gb,60gb,90gb,60gb with very little slowing down of speed during peaks hours
In 4 months i have only been without data service on 3 occasions when stopped for the night, so i simply pull out a DVD a watch it on the laptop

Still have my pre paid Tracfone for areas that T-Mobile does not reach for phones call which has not been very often at all

I am a company reefer driver for a mega and i could not be any happier with T-Mobile as it suits my needs and saves the family a few bucks compared to what we had before

What suits me does not work for an O/O who needs 4g everywhere, gotta find what best suits your lifestyle out here
