Now Phoenix does have a restriction on the CRJ Bombardier Class of Airliner, the rated temperature maximum is 118 for that particular plane. At that temp or above there is not enough wing nor engine to get that plane to where conditions are sufficient to lift that wing off a 3 mile runway. Since Sky Harbor does not have a 3 mile runway, you don't get to fly for a while. You do have the option to rebook onto a larger plane like a 747 or perhaps the new 737-max if they are availible in your area.

Death Valley was 115 today. Phoenix was 118

We have developing and deteroiting tropical storm conditions from this PM through friday pm.

What is interesting is there is going to be a Buzzsaw setting up on a 50 mile wide eye that will follow 40 to Memphis downtown prper and then try for th Conowingo Dam by Sat noon.

I don't think I will sleep much next couple of days, I spent the last two making the building ready for battle as near we can do it and actaully moved a couple loads in so that broke some rust off.
