Ring your fleet manager and ask to be routed out west so you can get some valuable mountain driving ahead of the next winter.
Don't expect a load out that way straight away it would be a work in progress. Typically west of Denver is not a great place freight wise for a solo.

Denver is terrible for freight in general. Whenever we delivered to Denver, our next load would always be in Dodge City. Hope Prime is charging a pretty penny for those 400 empty miles.

I swear my FM reads these forums. I got a load that heads west. I'll be continuing my tour of I80.

Delivering to Denver for me is like a lottery leaving
Walmart Loveland to all points west
Any meat plant in Kansas or Nebraska

    Moriarty, Nm.

Stopped for the night at the Pilot. Deliver in the morning to 90 in Lubbock, Texas. Picked up out of Rancho Cucamong, Cali. Loaf of 6 skidded coils at almost 42k.. the mountains sucked.

With how often I'm in Texas I told the soon to be wife we should just move there and I would be home every weekend/other weekend lol.

Junction, Tx. Sitting at the Pilot I don't have service here really in middle of no where lol.

Apparently the Pilot offers free WiFi at this location though.

Deadheading 505 miles from precious 90 to my new 01 at our yard in Laredo picking up a load from Caterpillar, 2 drops first in Athens, Ga 2nd in Clayton, Nc. Paying pretty decent and fleet manager is paying me over 1$/mile for all deadhead since I'm helping them out.

Had to take a almost 40mile detour to turn around to get back on Tx. 83, swift turn a turn to fast where road split and rolled over. Truck and trailer looked to be in bad shape hope the driver is okay.

I visited the Salt Lake Terminal yesterday. First time ever in SLC, really beautiful city.

The terminal itself is ehhhh. I see they are building a massive new shop. Hopefully SLC can be up to par with Pittston in the next few years.
