Well, "As of now, so-and-so is no longer an employee at Magnum.", probably brought about a nice stream of emails and calls from those of us that give a ####....

 

Maybe lesson learned???

 

Got my reload. I'm suppose to get 2 drops off tomorrow starting at 0800 and be in Chicago by 1400 for pick up. Total of 280 miles.

 

That ain't gonna happen...bridges are no longer open there

 

Well say no and sit, or do it and ask for something you want in return...

Honestly the last time I helped on a few short Midwest runs I ended up with a 4,000 mile week after all was said and done. Of course at the start I was sure I messed up by saying yes, turned out alright.

Sometimes you say ok and others no, make a choice you can live with and move on...

 

Apple allows favorites calls to come through (but not texts) and you can also allow multiple calls to come through as well. I have my DND set from 11 pm to 6 am.

Of course you have to remember to disable when you are at a customer, once slept through a call from Wally World lol, did help with my 10 hr break though

 

I added my miles up for the pay period ending on Saturday. If I can drop this load out of Chicago in CR on Saturday I will have run 6645 miles. Not a single load over 900 miles most were overnight and really tight delivery times. But this has worn me out. 11k miles for the month so far and was home 4 1/2 days and no resets.

 

Ok almost sounded like your were complaining, I mean with what you have on the clock it would be crazy to complain...I'm sure you weren't

 

I was thinking you were complaining too.... thought you were taking over for snackbar. It's good to be complaining that your tired for all the work!!

Miles are miles. But some miles are better than others. Just would like a nice easy long load now. Have 1. 5 hours on my 70 now.
