anyone ever blow the air horn for kids driving by?

I will for kids but never in traffic

 

I pass the house on a 2 lane almost every day, and still do it for my kiddo (and yeah, the wife, LoL!)

Yeah... that was funny.... I didn't know who Dowd Simpson was... but that picture didn't seem to be one of a member's picture...

 

Depending on the time, where I am and the traffic around me, I may not play the horn even if someone or kids ask for... Like if I am passing in front of a hospital or in a quiet neighborhood early in the morning, or if the sound of my horn may startle or confuse drivers next to me...

 

Hospital zone, I absolutely agree with you! But it is really, I mean REALLY fun to lay on the air horn as you drive past a golf course! Of course, you could have a gang of senior citizens chase you down with their golf carts, pull you out of the truck, and beat you to death with their golf clubs.....

The horn in "my" truck is not that great... not that loud... I have seen kids that looked disappointed after I played it...
So... when I drive by a school bus with kids inside, I prefer to look the other way...
