Yellowstone Grizzly Bear hunts

I was rolling along today listening to some news when I heard that the Yellowstone grizzly bears have been removed from the endangered species list because they've reached a population of 700.

Hunts will take place if they make it outside the national parks, they will no longer be protected.

personally I think this is a mistake.
