    Never thought about that method, but anything that gives the wires a ramp to get over the leading edge & any other obstructions on top of the load should work, as long as the strap can be tightened enough to prevent it from sagging too much if it does contact an object.

    Man you heavy haul guys just have the worst luck when it comes to wheels. You should consider some wheel locks or something.

    Shouldn't they have figured out it was too heavy for the bridges before they got on the interstate? Just saying

    They should have figured out t hey did not have permits yet before they got on the interstate

    Looks like they started the move without waiting for all the permits and just assumed they would all be approved. I can't believe they didn't have some kind of route survey that would have let them know the route wasn't good.

    Never seen a HET used for that before.
