    What do you think the ten greatest inventions of all time are?

    Mine are.

    1. The wheel

    2. Penicillin

    3. electricity/ the light bulb

    4. The combustion engine

    5. The plane

    6. The telephone

    7. The Microchip

    8. Glasses/spectacles.(I don't need them, but a lot of people do.)

    9. The indoor bathroom.

    10. The electric guitar and amp.(personal choice)

    5. Automatic dishwashers - wish I had one
    6. Printing press
    7. Steam engines

    9. Television
    10. Plastic bowls and cups - parents everywhere are very thankful!

    I'm on an extended one right know, and I'm bored out of my mind.

    Your not missing much, They never get our dishes clean.

    I would have said that one, but I ran out of numbers. Maybe I should have asked for the 15 greatest inventions...lol

    1. Aqueduct, which allows for the controlled movement of water
    2. Wheel, for obvious reasons
    3. Assembly line production, which allowed for mass production of like products
    4. Air conditioning, permitting year-round habitability in hot climates
    5. Printing press, which allowed for widespread distribution of written material
    6. Steam engine for powering machinery
    7. Telegraph for long-distance communication
    8. Compass, for navigational purposes
    9. Plastic, which introduced durable, lightweight and inexpensive products to the marketplace
