No worrys dude..All ranges of knowledge here..I have been useing radios for yrs and its only been the last cpl im only starting to learn stuff...
Best thing is just ask if you dont know..
Many here are stuck on the idea of "oh an ole trucker told me this works and that dont"idea..Many just follow what they hear in the road...Most time most dont read up on it or learn from mustakes or trial and error..
Me well in just stubborn and not willing to give up to easily on stuff at time..

Lol tucker is hell bent on that peak n ruin by some random golden screw driver who will tell ya what ya wanna hear BUT!! When you get goin down the road all you hear is someone who sounds like they have swallowed a mic..
Anout the only thing i would do for more power to a basic radio like a cobra is a lil tx star or midnight special amp..Even then you need a "NON GOLDEN SCREW DRIVER CERTIFICATION" tech to tidy stuff up in a match.. -
