Anybody know if firestiks instead of the stocks on a 15 are worth it or not that much difference?

 

Pick up a piece of cardboard and a wooden crutch from Goodwill and hold a "will work for food" sign at an interstate ramp...wear your Magnum hat to make it believable.

Jake, I've got the Fire Sticks and they were a vast improvement over the factory antenna's. My radio has been peaked and tuned and I was getting the antenna warning light with the stock antenna.

 

Wow ok thanks, where did you get your cb done at and do you remember how much they charged?

 

A local shop here in SEastern NC and he only charges $7.00. It's the same price that he has charged for 20+ years!

 

And did you go with the 3.5s or the 4s?

I believe they are the 4's. I'll make you the same offer as some of our other drivers....if I meet up with you (or anyone else) I'll swap radios with you and carry your radio and have it tuned and next time we run across each other swap back.

 

Taking a light, non-temp-controlled load from Marion, NC to Aurora, CO. About 1400 miles. Due on the 29th at 0800. Couldn't ask for much better. This load will take me right to the end of my 70. I love this job, but this load is particularly nice. gonna see if I can squeeze in a reset at the end.
