So did I on those jobs I left by quitting. In the case of a termination and you are dealing with a company that uses hireright you simply don't have this option. Even if it is pure BS made up by the company it is part of your DAC and must be accounted for. And even if a new company does not use DAC they may still verify. When you are fired and the reason is something company or FMCSA rule related you had best put those big boy pants on and be honest when you fill out that reason for leaving blank on that application. To do otherwise is to risk having your entire application tossed out.

Probably say, "I need a change from that regular boring routine at the other company. The company is ok, I just need a change."G13Tomcat Thanks this.

I tried the didn't know the rules card with the ######## at CHP when they wrote me up for being in the 3rd of 4 lanes. Didn't matter that I got over to give one of their own space as he inspected a truck on the side of the highway, or that I got over again to avoid rear ending a line of cars that tried to take the right exit from the hammer lane all at once, suddenly... didn't even matter that I didn't know the rule or that I had never seen a sign the entire time I was in California for 600 miles. I fought it and still ended up losing and paying the fine.
Ask my company how sympathetic they were to me avoiding an accident and following the law, but still getting a ticket for it. It's on my safety risk assessment for the next year.
And I still didn't have a beer. I hauled on the Miller Coors dedicated for a while. We hauled empty beer cans to the plant all the time. One of the guys on the fleet had a couple of cans left over in the trailer that Coors said was cool to throw away. He thought it'd be cool to have a blank can in the truck.
That is until he needed a B Service on his truck a few days later and he was on a bus back home with red ink all over his DAC. This can never had beer in it. It was obvious that it had never even made it to manufacture. He works at Walmart now as a greeter. -
It could have been tequila.... It's like beer.

OP...I would plead you were driving a "loaner" truck.
It wasn't your assigned truck, and you have no idea how
that devil drank got into that truck.
You were in the drivers lounge, reading the Bible, when your
angry,boss accused you of this.
It was only last week, you had submitted your notice.Your
homosexual boss had been making inappropriate advances towards you.
He was upset with you,and planted one of them fruity wine coolers in your truck?
Hell ! Use me for a reference. You been driving for me for the last 2 yrs?
Either way....don't admit to schnip!!!!
p.s. you gotta cover your tracks better in the future, -
Yep, in Lancaster, Texas lol
-
All the OP can do is open a dispute with HireRight....If the company does not respond in so many days it will be removed.
You still have to use them for a reference to fill your 10 year history for a new employer...Unless you have someone that will step up and say you drove for them during that period of time.....
Just make sure it is removed from DAC (Hire Right) first!
If you ever had any type of DOT roadside or scale house inspection or a ticket while driving for that company it WILL be on your PSP..
I had several BS things removed from mine...One was from a company I never drove for!G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
What you are advocating won't work. Go back and re-read the OPs first comment. This is not just negative information. It is the OFFICIAL reason for the termination. It most likely is not even on DAC, most likely a do not rehire or a rehire after review comment. When a perspective new company looks at these comments they want to know WHY and they don't just look to DAC, they ask the old company. Also hirerite will NOT remove all records of employment. You might get a negative comment took off, but the DAC is made up of 5 or 6 sections that cover different aspects of the time working at that company. One such report is drug testing, DAC won't release specific drug testing information but they will note the drug testing reported. Also while I don't own this website I have a serious doubt they appreciate advice that is either dishonest or outright illegal being posted in these boards. They can under some circumstances be held legally liable!
