That was me in May trying to get setup and switched over. You'll get back on track. I'm taking 10 days off in July for the holiday, so will have to hit it hard after that.

WalMart really messed me up yesterday. Took almost 7 hours unloading me and I couldn't get to my next load. Got here this morning and I have to wait in line behind all these other trucks that got here last night. Supposed to be in Ohio today by 1900. That isn't going to happen. They can take it Monday but I have a reload Monday and I'm hoping this doesn't mess that up.

Good ol' Wally World 1 pallet or 20 still takes about the same time.

That's the first time I've been held over 4 hours on a WalMart delivery. I was banking on the usual 4 hours in order to do this load. I ended up giving back my reload in Ihio though. Took me 8 hours to go 250 miles today from Camden, NC to my shutdown point. I can't make enough time now. Virginia was a mess today. Lots of accidents and really heavy traffic.

Same thing happened to me several weeks ago. Was trying to rush and put a driveway in on that property so I could avoid paying parking another month. It would get just dry enough then rain. A 2 day job ended up eating up the better part of a week and a half. Can't ever get that revenue back. There was a time when I would have shrugged that off. But having struggled to get by 2015-2016 I won't ever take anything for granted ever again. It sucks to miss any certain good revenue.

Called about a load on the 29th heading to Atlanta out of the Memphis area and they were trying to move it for 600.00 and wouldn't budge. I can't believe they were trying to move it that cheap?! There are quite a few potato loads in that same area paying 2.5 times that going to Texas. I'm planning on booking one of those tomorrow. An agent I have used before told me he can get it for 1650 and he'll let me know tomorrow, if not, CHRobinson is paying pretty close to that and they have quite a few sitting out there. The girl told me she might be able to get an extra 100 on it and I told her, I appreciate it, but when there's freight paying more than double what you have I can't justify turning down that opportunity, maybe next time.

Yeah they're liars. There's so many incoming calls in the Southeast right now on vans, reefers, and flats it's ridiculous. $3 a mile on good miles is easy lots of those posted. With some perserverence and effort you can get double that. Get as much as you can for the rest of the week and stack it in that bank cause it ain't likely to last. It's the end of the 2nd quarter push aggressively. People say drivers are whiney but I've heard more teary eyed sob stories from brokers crying rivers here lately,, lol. I'm not even going to say what I scored for my van this afternoon but it's probably one of the best I've booked in years. Sets me up in a decent area on the 29th too. Good luck drivers.
