Dang air dryer -07 Volvo 670 w/ Cummins

    I have a 07 Volvo 670 with a Cummins isx 870 with about 922000 miles and I have gone through about 3 air dryers in 5 years is that normal? it seems to be my purge valve instead of changing the valve I just change the whole thing but 3 in 5 years seems like a lot should I be changing the cartages more then once a year. it always seems to happen when I'm under a heavy trailer.

    Just a normal maintenance item. A lot of guys I know:
    Change the cartridge first year, change the whole unit the next year. And repeat.
    Some do it on a six month cycle.

    i see a lot of this air driers going to #### doesn't sound to far fetched 3 driers in 5 years almost normal
