Just got mine activated. Soon as my power supply arrives. I'm gonna use it in the truck AND my motorcycle to compare. I'll also be buying a battery pack for the usb option I purchased. see how gsm compares to cdma. Verizon has been really sucking lately and sprint has been marginally better in places I've needed internet the most. As long as my roaming data is turned on sprint hasn't been bad. It works where Verizon hasn't. neither work inside buildings or outside concerts though. I hope to use my Mobley as a portable carry around hotspot when sprint won't work.
-
BTW. I had to call and do a terms and conditions thing to get mine going. The sim was already activated.
I still need to set up account so I have access to online paying and get whatever software you all are using to log in to my device. -
I got my usb adapter Monday. Works like a champ. I was able to use my cell phone charger a/c adapter for the usb adapter for the Mobley. So I have a/c connection going on for the house.
Yeah, if you carry the mobley in the truck it could be a good back up carrier in case your phone signal was inadequate.
I opened an account from one their emails they sent me.
This link will allow you to change the settings on your mobley.

The pw for that link is attadmin
You can change it later.
By default, the mobley will shut off in 30 minutes. I changed it to never shut down. -
You don't need good credit to buy one. I don't know why they ran mine when I bought it outright. but mine isn't good. Now I could see if one did the 2 year deal. Save the $100 fee.
As for certain cars. Obd2 became mandatory in 95. Any car 95 or newer will work. It's nothing more then a simple power supply for the device. Some of us have even bought a power supply to not have to need the car at all. -
What did you use to log into the device? I installed an att app from the play store. It wants my account number, user name, and password. I couldn't get the browser to log in.
-
I used that link I posted. I didn't download the app.
Now, I was on the desktop getting internet from the mobley when I logged into wifi manager.
Is yours turned on when your trying to log in? Probably not. I couldn't wait for the power adapter. I had to plug it into the car and start playing with it immediately. -
All that stuff should be on the emails or shipping papers I would think. And btw, they have assigned that device a phone number. It took me a while to find that.
Edit: The pw for the device is printed on it. Their are two numbers printed on the side of the shipping box. -
The software wants a 9 digit account number.
I went through the instructions but the sin was already activated. Had no internet. Called to find out I needed to do the terms and conditions. Now we got internet. Tried to log in nut no dice. Download the app but I don't know the credentials needed. Will have to screw around some more after work. -
got it going and the phone browser logged in also has the option of pc mode at the bottom of login page.
I"m leaving mine set for 30 minutes. I don't see it getting used THAT much and it looks to only have a distance of 30 feet. My electronics are practically 50 feet from the car being parked.Last edited: Jul 10, 2017
