So I'm replacing the shocks on my drives. So I removed the top bolt with my impact drill and 15/16 wrench on the nut. Well when I got to the bottom the 15/16 wrench won't fit on the nut that is between the rubber. I can't get the bolt off because the shock keeps moving. Any dead on what I can do?

Grind the wrench down to the thickness needed and dedicate it to shock replacement or a thin vice grip or a pipe wrench,

A big pair of channel locks or pipe wrench on the shock impact on the nut
If that doesn't work (always has for me) a torch will get the job done
You will only need to hold the shock by hand when putting the new ones on

    Lots of options:

    -Grind wrench down.
    -Buy a thin wrench.
-Gas axe (only cut the stud, not thru the shock. Oil = fire!)
-Zip disc on a grinder. Cut the stud (don't cut the bracket!)
-Pipe wrench or big channel locks around the lower shock body.

    Cottonmouth85 Thanks this.
