    I don't get why they would come out with a new agreement that is only good for 6 months?

    They didn't. Its just an extension of the current ICOA for those whose expires before November. That's when it will all be done electronically.

    What doesn't make sense, is why they put an expiration on the ICOA to begin with since it's an "at will" agreement on both parts.

    My guess would be that part of the definition of "independent contractor" is that there is a set time limit for the contract - particularly if the work is part of the company's "core business ".

    I never saw any time limit on my contract nor have i ever seen one on prior ones anywhere else...you would think that if they have changes they could add addendums to the icoa...who knows...the changes that have been made have made the program less desirable though...my experience is they like to change things without notification and act like it dont matter...

    IMG_0011.JPG Still hanging in there. This was my 1st settlement after taking a month and a half off. I was off from May 4th to June 21st. In that time Schneider, only called me once too see how things where going. They called like a month later.lol.. nope I'm not drinking the Jim Jones juice. Just going to ride this wave till the end.

    But remember when this last ICOA was put in place - shortly after the FedEx ruling. Schneider needed to clarify the relationship to avoid a similar fate.
