The current question is...
Is it easier to unload a truckload of bowling balls or a truckload of babies?

The height requirement is 15' over the street. I did cabling before road construction which was before trucking. Fault lies on the installer who probably quit already so it's the cable companies fault.

And for the guy who said that he would turn me in if he knew what company I drove for I drive for Werner. Good luck finding which driver out of literally thousands of themJmans Thanks this. -
The most untrustworthy people on the planet are those with a pious look on their face and a halo hovering over their head. If I were in a position to make hiring decisions on truck drivers, I'd hire the felon with a long rap sheet over the guy trying to convince me he's a perfect angel and will commit suicide if he even puts a small smudge on a trailer. I've worked around those types all my working life and one thing I've learned, they'll rat you out over even the most insignificant issue just to make themselves look good to the boss man. The boss man actually hates those people and just uses them to get information.misterG, OPUS 7 and austinmike Thank this. -

However, speaking as one who has tore down MANY phone lines thanks be to internet shoppers with more money than brains, some of which were even with a 12'6" trailer, law enforcement won't even give a second look if the phone or cable line was the only thing damaged.
Also, if the OP's company decides to ding him with a preventable for this, than it's my opinion that he needs to look elsewhere for employment. That's something only a scumbag outfit would do.BUMBACLADWAR, street beater, Jmans and 7 others Thank this. -
Simple answer: low wire in a residential neighborhood = blame the garbage trucks. Drove garbage residential and commercial 13 years, wires that were high last week are low this week due to wind/weather/tree limbs etc. Took 'em down and kept rolling. Under 14', not our problem. Cable wire is lowest, then phone, then power.
