You know to be honest i didnt even think of that. Great point. It would hurt my record i have worked so hard for if drivers begin to slack off and ever be late to an appointment

Dime on anything.
Call me crazy but this whole ELD thing comes from
Outlaw reefer companies.
We all ran 2 log books. Outlaw reefer companies
Pulling produce from the west coast back east were
Running 3 log books. I know,I done it for 5 years.
All your numbers look great but you left out the
Most important thing.
Where are you getting your freight from:
Who's finding the loads:
Are you using load boards:
Who's the dispatcher:
How can you guarantee that big weekly pay:
Do you have a contract:
What's the plan if you can't meet the payroll and
Some driver is pissed off a 1000 miles away with
Your truck.
Nowhere near enough information here.
I wouldn't touch this.
Be prepared to answer all these questions and
More from a expierenced driver if that's what
Your looking for.naserrano22 Thanks this. -

That is exactly the reason why i am so excited about ELD it is not right for someone to be driving so much. Right now 1 person is doing the job should require 2...
I choose salary because i need to save time And money by not hiring a dispatch service.
I mainly use 4 brokers. And i average around 1.70 . My current trip is bringing 11,350 on 6,300 total miles
Id like to run a great and honest operation. Being short pay will never be an issue with my company. And thats that. No other answer. You will never be short pay.
Having a full year salary pay before bringing someone on. Also helpsWestern flyer Thanks this. -

I run regionally for a company out of Colorado and we are on a weekly salary. Never changes. Some weeks I run 900 miles some weeks 3200 miles. I love it. No stress on me. It's all on the boss. I do get a few pennies per mile on top of the salary which is nice, and it keeps the motivation high.
