Yeap they are all readin the mail,gettin down,sayin bye bye bye then come back 10 seconds later while repeating the same sentence over 3 or 4 times..

 

CB has gone from being the poor man's business channel to the unlicensed hobbyists channel. Anymore it's nothing but dead air unless DX is rolling. That's when you really hear all the trash on the air. Funny thing is you would think the sales of CB radios, amps, etc would go down. Nope. Still the same price. Even when DX conditions are taking a turn for the worst in a few years. Meaning you won't be able to work skip. Maybe then you will pick up some intelligent conversation and not a bunch of clowns.

Yup I generally am on 17. There are 3 weirdos in the San Jose area that harass drivers from their moms basement probably. They gave HUGE radios and will follow us to another channel just to bug us. Freakin weirdos.

 

Anyone who's traveled through the Olympia WA area is more than likely to have been verbally assaulted by Motormouth & company (local base tower club, of sorts).

 

I wonder if the Anytone Smart cb will too? Been looking at them.

Follow your meter and see if you can narrow down their area..Buy a field strength meter and a cb walkie talkie and when ya find them,trip over their coax with wire cutters
