Something was changed ecm is what I would go with because it is know that people can and do revised the odometer to make it look as it has lower miles
Grubby Thanks this. -
Can someone change the ECM from high number to low number
-
Dont brand new ECM's start out at 0? Im positive they do.
-
I would assume mileage to be the higher of the 2.
-
If you had a new ECM installed wouldn't it have the lower milage? Don't see how it would pass the odometer. I think the ECM is probably correct.Grubby Thanks this.
-
What I meant, say the truck has 3xx, xxx miles and the ecm gets replaced, the new replacement ecm would start at 0 .
-
What about if replaced both ECM and
odometer . Noway to know the real number for mileage ???Bascomd Thanks this.
