International ihc 8600 daycab isx Cummings engine losses power need help!!!!

    I have a 2007 international day cab everytime I go up hills I lose a lot of power and my check engine light flashes on so I have to down shift to 9th could it be a problem with turbo ecm or what could it be ??

    Go to the dealer have them pull the codes, don't second guess this and waste time. Time is money and it may be a simple solution.

    When I went to the dealer. Nothing came up because they said the engine light wasn't on the problem is the engine light only comes on when I'm in tenth gear and struggling to get up a hill
