    Lol. I think I called and emailed them about a dozen times. I just went ahead and ordered the Little Wil. In the interim, I guess it's pointless to try and re-construct a new foil capacitor?

    It would be something you could play with. You never know........ My understanding is even the mylar on the bottom of the magnet has to be just right for the antenna to work correctly, so it might be difficult to get it back operational. I'd probably save it to try one day though.

    Speaking of capacitor, is there a chance the little capacitor inside the base has a broken lead (wire)? It probably has heat shrink around it.
