Tragedy, all the same. Just dang. We shall never really know the whole story, I reckon.
lovesthedrive, mitrucker and Big Don Thank this. -
I have been thinking EXACTLY the same thing!. Just a pair of stop lights and turn signal lights that DO NOT illuminate with the park lights.
-
What about the passenger? How about people just use common sense and drive the truck safely?lovesthedrive and jethro712 Thank this.

I don't know the specifics, but we were talking about it last night in the office. The guy from gfs involved had a company 2,000,000 mile safe driving award back in 2014. He's been around for a solid 25 years I'd say. Wrong place wrong time possibly... hard telling these days.

I asked my bosses what they knew about it. They didn't even know it happened till I told them to look it up. They said it's all been quiet. Guess the TV news picked the story up and as of now no charges have been filed so who knows. Somebody could have cut the GFS truck off and he turned sharp and hit those cars accidentally.
The Kentucky State Police said traffic in that area was congested and that was what they think was part of the problem.ZachG91 Thanks this. -
Guess we'll see how it plays out. Awful situation.Mike2633 Thanks this.

I asked our transit this morning what they knew and they were unaware, but I bet word is going to slowly get out now and probably start to spread system wide.ZachG91 Thanks this.

Yeah it surely will. I got back to the yard last night around 0130 and the dispatcher was talking about it. I don't know how he found out so quickMike2633 Thanks this.

I asked my bosses yesterday if like an APB went out to management, and he said no not yet they usually don't say anything until a verdict has been reached.
What a mess...ZachG91 Thanks this.
