Im about to buy a 2014 peterbuilt tractor with about 365000 miles on it and I have 27 yrs experiance,so much do you think insurance is going to cost a month? just need a ball park figure.thx

Very greatly 1st year with own numbers. Anywhere from 8k to 20k and then some 4 some guys. Your years of having a cdl help. Then next depends on your mvr. But still will be high first year. If your going to lease to a Carrier see if thy will insure your truck. I pay about 1 dollar per 1000 of truck value per week through my carrier.

O/O here, just renewed, Insurance rates just went up by $5,550 per year. Agent said to try everyone, rates have gone crazy.
