I stopped in a small town Walmart in Arizona on my way to Texas about 3 weeks ago, as I pulled in I drive passed 2 guys sitting on the ground next to the gate from the truck lot to the Walmart, both definitely looking for handouts. Sure enough as I'm walking by I get hit up for food. The one guy said he was a Navajo veteran named yellow horse. All he asked for was a sandwich. As I walked inside I grabbed my few things and grabbed him one of those premade American subs. Come outside and confronted him. I asked him for a veteran id card, he preserved me with one. So I gave him the sandwich. He opened it up, broke it in half and gave the guy next to him the other half. I was really to roast him had he not shown me his card. He then asked me if I'd buy him a beer. That's where I draw the line

First I do understand what your saying, driving I think makes you a little not trusting because it seems every body looking for hand outs focus in on a driver as soon as I see someone walking towards me I wonder what story I'm going to here now,and you did show kindness but imo if someone is trying to scam you that really shouldn't matter if you lend a hand to anyone in kindness and there scamming that's on them they will answer for.Its like food stamps most Americans I think are in favor of helping less fortunate but also when there are programs to help those there are always those that will take advantage of the system, but do you stop helping the one in need to keep those who take advantage. If someone ask for food if I'm willing to help I don't care if he or she is lying that is on them

I am untrustworthy of people who claim they can't work but seem very ablebodied, specially when there are plenty of jobs out there. In the past 2 weeks there have been several reports of scam artists claiming to be out of work, or unable to work just in my home Area. I'm tired of seeing people getting taken advantage of, and I'm tired of people claiming there aren't no jobs. ########! There is no shortage of companies that will take on a rookie and put them through cdl school all while paying for food and a place to crash. It's not that there aren't no jobs, it's that many people refuse to work, or they lack the qualifications to find work.dngrous_dime, noluck, G13Tomcat and 1 other person Thank this.
