    Abilene Motor Express has customers in the city. The drivers go there but don't like to because they're not from the area. That company will probably be very interested in you.

    Also don't let them screw you out of extra NYC pay just because that load takes you home. Most starter companies would probably try to.

    I don't know about Nevada but many local companies in and around NYC pay much more than over the road.

    You might try a regional company that has a terminal in Long Island....companies are always looking for someone to drive in NYC. Try an online search using Indeed.

    Kane has a huge warehouse here in Scranton, and they haul to NYC...not sure if they require experience or not....
    .any company in eastern PA will likely haul to NYC.
