I'm running a 177256-2 on my 5EK,,spools up quick,throws 30 psi, no wastegate
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Borg Warner came out with there own stage 1 turbo. I don't know the number but it's in here. Use the search box. If you want to build you own stage 1, let me no, I will give you the borg warner parts numbers. If you use the search box, those part numbers ain't no secret, there in here somewhere. Mine spools up quickly and will give me 38 to 40 manifold pressure. I just don't keep it there to long, eventually it creates to much heat. And I'm referring to intake heat, not exhaust.

The SXE is the current high performance lineup from bw. The spool and airflow is much better than the older units.
Dave are you running the standard 1.32ar turbine housing on the 96mm turbine?
Which compressor are you using that it's getting too hot charge air temps at 30psi extended useOxbow Thanks this. -
Dave said 38-40 psi. I agree those stg 1 turbos have high intake air temp over 40 psi.
