Take it to a shop to test for air in the return line.

Also are you getting the tell tale signs.

Losing prime........longer crank times (hard start)
    Rpm fluttering on hard pulls.

    Bad mpg.

Under load the motor sounds like ####.

    KirshaunW. Thanks this.

Yes I'm getting those exact symptoms, rpm gauge goes up and down on cruise at 65 mph motor sounds like the engine is gonna fall out and the driveline vibrates like a stripper

That sucks man. What year is the truck? How many miles? Get ready to drop 6k with dealer. Unless you find a shop to do it for less.

2011 670 with 610,858 miles I got a mechanic that can do all injectors and cups for around 3-4K but I just hope that's what the problem is for sure. I took her to Volvo yesterday and paid $140 and they told me to keep running it because if it isn't broke don't fix it like seriously something is wrong this isn't normal.

if he can do injectors he can figure out if injectors are bad for sure as well most likely it is injectors two ways to tell either air in fuel return or pull out injectors and look at them from what you are describing it's injectors almost 100%

JerryD13 and Socal Xpress Thank this.

Thanks a lot man, I really hope that when I do get her fixed I can get pretty good miles out of them before they go again.

I have the exact same problem. Truck is in the garage. By tomorrow I will have a diagnostic. I expect the replacement of the injector cups. At 1 130 000 miles I should not be shocked that the truck gets sick from time to time.
