Is there such thing as a list of all places, good and bad, which offer training/tuition reimbursement?
It has been a royal pain finding trucking companies to start with, then having to figure out which ones will actually train you has just been a nightmare. So far I have tried to make my own list and it totally sucks.
Incase anyone is interested though, here is my list so far (don't laugh)
Averitt
C.R. England
CRST
Marten
Maverick
Midwest (MCT)
Roehl
Swift
USA Truck
Willis (WSE)
I know it isn't much, but it's a start. Does anyone know any other companies that will hire newbies and train them in return for a 1yr contract etc? Any help would be MOST appreciated. I never anticipated finding a decent starter trucking company would be anywhere near this hard.
List of companies willing to pay for student training?

Try Schneider. I'm guessing that since trucking in general is slow right now, that you will certainly have a hard time finding anyone hiring. Good luck!!!

Prime inc may help. They have there own school. The list you wrote is a start, notthing wrong with that.Gotta start some where. Good luck.

Edit: Btw, panhandlepat, I love your signatures haha. Dave Ramsey is awesome, never heard that quote by him before. Definitely sums up a lot of his philosophey. -
I know at least Prime is still hiring. Spoke with them this week....

At this time, Schneider is only hiring experienced drivers and has closed down their schools.

Werner will hire a driver without a cdl and put them through training as will FFE.
