Looking for OTR company in Texas

Waggoners, but they may only be team out of Texas.
But really, does the company have to be TX based? Or, just get you home to TX when you want?
What do you want to do? Stay in Reefer, then maybe WilTrans, if not, then you have a wide open field to chose from

Check out the Magnum Ltd thread in "favorite trucking companies". As a loner living in the truck myself, I make .50 cents a mile and usually rack up over 11,750 a month (minimum to maintain .50 cpm). New equipment, APUs, fridges, 2000 watt converter. All reefer. All no-touch. Some drop and hook. This place would be right up your alley.

We aren't from Texas, our hq is in Fargo, ND. But I believe we hire out of Texas. We have plenty of freight going there.

Basically my preferences are this:

I'm a single loner type with no ties to anyware, OTR drifter.

I prefer to stay out for months at a time, but then like to take 4-7 days off after 2-3 months on the road.

Looking for a good company where I can get around 2500 miles/week with possibility of going 3000 on the good weeks.

I love the really long trips, my previous company had an avg of 700 miles per trip. I've heard of companies where this is higher. Would prefer a company that did really long hauls. I could be flexible on this point if loads were planned well. With my first job so much time was wasted on sub 500 mile trips, and with the typical bs ended up wasting multiple days for 300-400 miles far too often.

No teams, won't do that.

Basically if you were a loner and never had to be home at any specific time, what would be the best job to maximize income?

My husband just got a great job with Bay and Bay transportation. They are based out of Minnesota, but have a terminal in Denton. You can check them out on YouTube.

Check out Bay and Bay transportation. They have a terminal in Denton, TX. My husband has been on OTR driver for over 30 years and thinks he has died and gone to TRUCKER HEAVEN. Absolutely wonderful company!

Since you already have experience pulling reefers why not come to Tyson. Great people to work for, outstanding benefits, and they'll keep you running. If you do decide to join the company ask to be assigned to one of the 3000 fleet boards. Best Fleet Manager and awesome dispatchers.
