Took a 34 in North Las Vegas, rolled out this morning at 0200 and dropped in Redlands, California. Headed to the closest truck stop, and about 1230 I got a load that had to be picked up in Carson, California by 1500. Fought traffic, and got loaded and rolled out of the shipper at 1430. No way I can make it back to the truck stops in Ontario with traffic and the time left on my 14, so I'm taking my 10 in an industrial area ( which I only do as last resort). This load delivers in Olathe, Kansas Friday at 0700, it only weighs 4000lbs. I will beat feet out of here about 0100.

Well I've had two firsts today since being at FCC. First grocery warehouse delivery, and first time having to use a lumper. Thank God I don't have to do either very often. This was a broker load so that probably explains part of it. Been in a door for two hours and they haven't touched me yet, plus it's a floor load. Once I leave here I have to do a short hop, pick up in Kansas and drop in Crete, Nebraska. Then go to our drop yard in Lincoln and pick up a trailer going to Sumter, SC.

I dropped my trl in schyler yesterday. Had a preplan council bluffs to garland. They told me to bobtail to cb. Went to fremont for the nite. Today they took load away bc a driver had a death in the family and needed that load. Thats fine. Now im bobtailing to aurora going to ennis tx. Should be home tonight for my restart and finish the week with little over 2500 miles

I worked there a couple years ago. They are a good company. My wife lost her health insurance so I had to find a job with affordable health insurance. FCCs was 170 a week for family couldn't afford that or id still be there.
Rocks and runningman0661 Thank this.
