This company is downright a dream crusher. The dispatch are very rude and malcontents. They have lied to me and on me. Taken loads from me and given to their favorite drivers.I literally get a 34 hour reset every weekend. I've been with them almost three months and never have driven on the weekend.I sit from Friday to Monday missing over a thousand miles each week.my driver manager tried hard to pre-planned me for the week.but every weekend when she is not there.weekend dispatch screws me around.I signed up for the lease purchase program as that is the only way to presumely make any real money with them.as the company drivers only get .30 cent per mile and get stuck doing relays, recoveries by flying from state to state and not get paid for it.it's possible to make money doing lease.however your at the mercy of the dispatch which cares nothing about getting you your miles.I'm currently in the negative over $900 haven't received a check in two weeks and won't receive a check for the next few weeks as I don't get the mileage needed to get out of the hole.I barely get enough miles to cover the current weeks truck payments.so I will be a trucking slave for the next few weeks.I'm just trying to hold on till I reach my 3 months ago I don't have to go out with a trainer once I switch companies.this company is really making me want to say the hell with these cdl and go back to working a regular 9-5. I know it has to be better than this so I'm trying to hold on and see what another company can offer me.I literally #### more than I drive.but when I am given miles I run hard.I don't take extended breaks I don't hang at the truck stops.I keep pushing.but always get screwed around at the end of the day.please if you consider trans am.stay away...the they will make you regret your decision to become a truck driver.

You gotta think more of yourself than this!!!
    LEAVE!!! LEAVE NOW!!!!!
No lease! No Trans cram! Screw the 3 months!
    Your brainwashed!
No pay= No wheel gets turned with my sweet arse in the seat.
That should be your #1 rule from here on out.
You drive to get paid.If one company wont do it,find the next one that will.
Park that screw job of a lease, and don't look back

This is something I can tell you from experience and doing this since 1989..... TRUCKING IS FULL OF TWO THINGS GREED AND LIES... IT'S ALL THEM THE COMPANY AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR ME/THEM TODAY..... BIGGER COMPANIES THAT DON'T HAVE THEIR OWN FREIGHT OR CUSTOMERS WILL NOT HAVE STEADY MILES FOR YOU TOO RUN. THEY ARE A REVOLVING DOOR. DRIVERS WILL COME AND GO. THE $$$$ FOR THE DRIVER DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE DRIVERS TIME INVOLVED... AFTER ALL YOUR PRETTY MUCH LIVING IN A TRUCK.

Your story is typical for lease-purchase drivers and that's with any company, not just TransAm. What's really crazy is some drivers bounce from one lease-purchase company to another and have the same results, then blame the trucking companies.
Other drivers are making a thousand a week easily as company drivers and doing this right out of cdl school.
Next time, shop carefully for a trucking job; there's plenty of good ones out there. Which state do you live in?

I don't call it TrannySlam for nothing.

    Couple of things here:

One, they can't take away a load that you already have unless you voluntarily give it up. If they take it away you are now legally an employee and not a contractor.

Two, I would never go back to a company position after having gone up a step. If you are in the same boat and want to try again at a decent company give JCT a shot. In this thread JCT lease purchase data. Know before you go. I have posted real numbers of what you can expect to make. Those aren't hypothetical and no exaggerated pie in the sky bs.

If you can live on those numbers the lease can be completed if that's the route you want to take.

Oh they took my load.my truck was actually hooked to the trailer. They sent another driver ig they store a spare key under the hood and they had the driver unhook my truck and take the load.I was running a day and a half ahead of schedule and would had made the delivery on time.I don't know how they are able to treat people that way.I was at home.in which I was passing through on my way to delivery

It's amazing how many people fall for the lease-purchase scam, especially with some of the companies I see mentioned. Does it work for some? Sure. But for every guy who makes it work, there's a handful (probably more) who get crushed and fail miserably...

It's not me that's failing.it's the people that's failing me.I haven't got more than 1900 miles in a week since being there.and when I do run I run no less than 550 miles a day.
