    Things are slowly getting back to some semblance of normal...at least we're able to GET fuel again, just have to get as much as you can where you can. Many places are only open a few hours/day, some not at all.

    Comedy of errors!:biggrin_25512::biggrin_25512::biggrin_25512:

    When I drove out to Winnipeg week before last I just had to remind myself to fuel up before they shut down pumps at the card locks when they close the store at 630pm in Calgary. Then in Winnipeg the attendant told me they were back into the swing of things with getting fuel supply but others in the area were not up to full 24/7 operations. While out on the road I have not run into the idea of only so much fuel per truck but then I'm not out there running hours like the majority. I have talked to a driver out of Kamloops BC who watches online to see which fuel sites have fuel and which are running low so he can keep fuel in his truck and stay on the higher side of the half mark. From drivers he talks to and some who I have talked to on the phone try to check online on regular basis on sites keeping up to date reports on where to avoid dry spots. So far he has kept rolling by having these tools online to steer clear of towns or cities bogged down. In this day and age of trucking it's nice to have sites to check for things we need on an on going basis.

    With fuel conditions the way they are drivers are going to be a little on the timid side when the weather drops and snow is flying in the air. Guess those with big powered trucks getting low figures in fuel economy will be really watching for card lock highs and lows when it comes to fueling. In most cases fueling in the day time when most local city carriers are needing fuel is the best time to make sure your tanks are full. Just hope they get this straight before the temp drops well below freezing. Word on the street is the card locks that are running out are the ones that will not control the amounts going out, so to control the over use of these facilities they are curbing what they receive in fuel supplies. So this could be the reason they are closing certain fueling sites down at night. On October 29th Land line Magazine shows just how tight things are when it comes to getting enough fuel to keep loads on schedule.

    But hey what do I know, like most I'm sucking air. LOL

    Be Climate Prepared or better yet write to your local MLA's and MP's!!

    The price of Oil is virtually 'half-of' what it was since the end of July.. How typical the NWO Alberta. Gov't and it's 'NAFTA/IFTA' computer based algorythms are scrambling to 'strain' at the sametime 'sustain' (*see Royalty Taxation) the retail value of diesel at the pumps, meanwhile all of the 3-- (as Lostnfound similarily stated a couple of weeks back) 'just happened' to 'coincidentally' close these major refineries at the same time.. Nothing to do with the 'Economy'.. (WTF?)

    Meanwhile the rest of the public is 'gushing' over the lower than average prices of unleaded at the pumps.. Gosh, I mean what a coincidence..!? They can be happy little sheeple while 'Premier Campbell' is soon to call an election for May 2009.

    Like when didya' ever see diesel priced more than regular gasoline..?

    (Just another NWO scheme to make the sheeple feel like they are being cared for; little do they know that consumer inflation on food has been rising to all time highs. Next thing there will be 'food shortages')

    That if I didn't say this before already-- I guess this is what happens when you Albertans vote Conservative.. (Not to mention the PM being from Calgary n' all either.. So we can't just blame the Good Ol' Boys Prov. of 'AB.')

    #### Feds!!
