Circuit City closing 155 stores

Don't worry the dems will make more of this happen with their tax plan.. Hey but at least you will have health insurance.. You will not have a job but you still will have health insurance..

 

I prefer Circuit City to Best Buy . Too many people at Best Buy out to rip you off . Never let the Geek Squad touch a new computer . Better yet , buy your computer elsewhere .

 

I want to buy a big LCD TV, saw the news about Circuit City so went to their website looking for a bargain. Found none.

 

Its gonna get worse before it gets better. About the only business I would feel secure in owning right now would be a grocery store. And even that is iffy! (if "iffy" is not a word, then pick one that means the same thing and pretend that I put it in instead of "iffy".)

 

We had a local grocery chain with 4 stores go out of business . They had been in business for years and a couple of the stores were in neighborhoods convenient to older residents . Then look at the tough times Winn Dixie had .
(When I was living in FL several years ago my son and DIL came from MA to visit for a while . They went out one day and left me a note . "We went to Winnie Dix to pick up our photos " )

They closed 2 stores in Houston. The one by us, they had just opened 2 weeks before closing. Their closing sale was a big joke as you could go online and then to the store and the store was alot higher. My neighbor wanted to buy a large flatscreen tv. He went online and then to the store and the store was $400 higher.
