If your allowed to, get a small apartment/dorm fridge from walmart. Youll need to have an inverter on the truck. Thats what I do.

    ExOTR Thanks this.

I kept a bunch of canned stuff. Tuna and mandarin oranges mainly. That was my dinner many times at rest areas and places other than truck stops.
Granola bars and trail mix type stuff too - along with the assorted stuff in the cooler -
We stopped at Helds Cheese shop in Wisconsin one time, I got a big chunk of sharp cheddar, man was it good. was eating cheese for quite awhile lol -

I carried a small camping stove, had to go shopping a few times a week to keep the food fresh, but them cig lighter coolers almost kept the food cool as long as it was not the 115+ degree stuff. mostly vegs, rice, beans, also had a crock pot that plugs into the cig lighter which made some great smelling foods to see the dot inspectors eyes light up. Only thing is everytime taking a shower it was doing the dishes also, but it sure beat the food at them greasy spoons,

and then while you thinking about eating, stop and get a good portajon from a camping supply store, it will save you much hassle and from trashing areas that we still can park in. They are closing off areas from to many slobs leaving the place smelling and being a sewer, If we show a bit of respect for these people we may be given some back.

Don't crap or pee in your house, get your lazy butt up and walk to the bathroom. If you are at a shipper with no restroom, piss on their dock or crap off the catwalk into their drive.
