    Also did you have to remove any of the parts of cabinets to get it in?

    Old thread.
    There's a TV on that side now. And I don't recommend putting it above your head. Not that I think it will come off... But you will eventually hit your head on it... And that #### hurts.

    Anyway. It's on the top Bunk now strapped down (removed the mattress).
    Some 2x4s cut down so I don't have the straps on top of the microwave (preventing me from opening the door.

    The newer Volvos have 2 cabinets that will hold a microwave. They even have a carpeted base that raises the micro above the lip enough to open the door . Straps are factory. If the Volvo has the optional swinging TV mount it can be latched to prevent the micro from moving.
