Gouged by stores, truckers

BC is just that Cybergal....Bring Cash... Beyond Canada. The letter writer has no idea what they're dumba$$ed ultra liberal gov't has done by adding that stupid carbon tax to the price of fuel. Fuel in BC is ridiculous... 20 cents/litre higher than anywhere else! I know I can'tr afford to fuel there!

 

I spend as little as possible in Canadian truckstops . If I'm not on a real tight schedule I'll stop and eat in the U.S. before crossing the border . The meals in Canada seem to be 50% higher than in the U.S. and the food twice as bad . Prices at service plazas are really outrageous . You have to be real careful what food you carry in the truck . You never know when they are going to inspect you .

 

I noticed those price differences a long time ago.

The carrying of food or soda into Canada was never a problem to me. I know that when I came back to the states that always wanted to know if it was bought in Canada. I have just told them where I bought it and the receipt is available to see.

 

I noticed the biggest jump in food prices in Alberta, "I.G.A." until they started 'acting like BC.' (They used to be good, but they just went n' got all plain, greedy on me..)

*Becareful of Immigrant run Stations who don't, won't, or just straight-out; refuse to provide an 'Itemized' print out of what you purchased there. Otherwise; you've probably just payed into an 'Islamic Terrorist Wedding' or two-- and I think that could be located somewheres in the M.E. ..
