Sounds to me like Canada is telling Navistar "You're gonna pay for what you got . "
Navistar may be missing a market advantage . If they could keep production in Canada and the U.S. while Freightliner keeps closing plants and building new ones in Mexico , that could persuade some buyers to buy an International .
Maybe Navistar should buy the Dodge truck line from Chrysler and bring International pickups back with the 6.4 diesel replacing the Cummins .
Dodge Cummins owners would be very unhappy . :biggrin_25516:

Who would want the 6.4 engine? It is one of the reasons I did not buy a Ford.

Just because these 'Midnight Moves' with Corporations that happen in the States all the time doesn't mean it's going happen here.. I don't think Canadian Politicians or Lobbyists to Prov. or Feds would be turning a blind eye or pocketing bribes..

Second thought, though, I really wonder..
