Oh that's right thats all free and clear money. There's no IRP to pay, no insurance, the truck never needs fixing, and the IRS doesn't want any of that money. And of course if your house, cars, semi truck, and various other toys were not already paid for it'd still be great money. I guess everyone has different ideas. It's OK money but it ain't great.Ruthless and bulldawg trucker Thank this.

I said it was good for me. N I never said it never needed fixed, or the IRS, etc... It's good for me.

@Bfr38 I think what @rollin coal is trying to say is that from o/o pov it can be better, even though, to you as a driver, it seems like great money.
What you are exhibiting is the classic myopic driver mentality, all while we trying to point out that there's more to it than just getting $300/trip (driver pay), or $16,800/month (owner's gross)rollin coal Thanks this. -
I def understand what he's saying, but I don't want to haul steel, reefer, but steel is where it's at. N I know everyone wants 3-4 dollars a mile, but if anyone finds me that being a O/O hauling dry van I will leave the mail in a heart beat!
