    that is EXACTLY it........trippin over dollars to pick up dimes......

    had a similar experience this weekend and just got off the phone with my ICA and the long and short of our conversation ended up being, "if it were during the week and you or ------ were there, I would have called." I'm just not going to fool with those folks on weekend duty........it's just ugly and only gets uglier when you jump in the mix.

    When I worked here i flew from Atlanta to Portland to help a start up dedicated in the office. After I was done I Sat in a hotel for 3 1/2 days because they wanted to use their flyer miles to fly me home. $175 a night for the hotel all my meals plus my salary. I could have gotten a flight home for $600 that left in 4 hours after I was done.
    When I complained about this my boss said they would jump over a dollar too save a dime.

    2.5 hours this morning to verify my load was cancelled. Short staffed CS caused me to sit and watch load after load disappear off the board because they wouldn't take me off the load until they could verify it with customer service. Really sucked because it was a reload out of the same place I was delivering to.

    But, my UCR app was sent in and paid for today, time is ticking down quicker and quicker. Can't wait for next month!

    They (SNI) aren't just stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. They're throwing dollars away in an effort to keep the pennies they already have.

    Then they take their precious pennies and waste them on fixing the unbroken while leaving the broken to fall further into disrepair.

    Is it possible they couldn't reach the right people at the customer?

    Some of these companies all their loads go through a corporate office and you could ve there for hours waiting on the right person to be found that can verify the load cancelled, especially on weekends or holidays. I've even had them ask me to ask who ever was at pick up location for any alternative phone #s.

    But then again you've got cs people that send an email and thats all the effort you'll get from them.

    i think its actually more like they are taking all the dollars and leavin everyone else with the pennies.

    amazing how drivers think the people running schneider dont know what they are doin, they know what they are doin they just dont give a crap about anyone else but themselves,like the old saying goes "they are laughing all the way to the bank".
