I've called the people at H&M a couple times but they were too stingy for that kind of work. I could make more on a couple short runs and less stress. Hoping these guys aren't the same.

Lol. Scandalous much. Maybe I didn't clarify myself enough in the first sentence...But his contact has been around the block and abused so many times.... I wouldn't mind giving him any of my hard earned contacts.

    Misesian Thanks this.

Well good for you. I never share any of my contact info. Or I should say not with complete strangers.

So was it 3 months after you became active? How did they notify you via mail, email, both? From the time you received your notice, how much time did you have to prepare the paperwork before the deadline? I am still waiting for mine, so I am getting a little anxious.

I had a State audit at about 30 days. The State audit is kind of like your training wheels for the real thing. I had a letter dated 10 days after from FMCSA to submit documents within, I believe 21 days, it was 20 something. I did that and about 12 days ago the letter was in my box saying the audit was complete and there would not be any on site review. I run an ELD and fuel card so I just sent in the reports from those, all drive qualifications, maintenance Receipts, annual inspection papers, and a few other things I can't remember right now. Their testing your record keeping ability. I had 2 days total I went over my logs, one was by 3 minutes, and one was when my recap failed in Memphis where I had to drive 30 minutes over my log to get parked. They didn't say anything about it. I had made notes on the 30 minute one explaining the situation. The other was me racing the clock and I lost.

All communication with them was by mail. I called them once on my own and faxed in all the required documents.

I wouldnt of given a name. Now every tom dick and harry can call them up trying to get those loads from them. And you haven't built a track record with them long enough that they know your service record.

Lots of guys out here running for garbage rates so they will quote a crap rate 25 to 50% lower than yours just for the outbound load.

SheepDog, Oscar the KW and rollin coal Thank this.

You just haven't been burnt enough by other drivers, even those you thought were friends.
