    Any experience or thought's on Troy Perkins out of Summersville Ky?
    His Detroit super tune is supposed to be a hoss, but if it aint broke.....
    Engine is a 12.7 in a new glider, just rolled over 60,000 miles
    Factory reman not a fitz in house motor

    Check out Pittsburgh Power they are supposed to be good also. They can turn up a Detroit to like 700 HP. You would void the warranty I would think. They have a power box that can override the EMC you and turn it on or off. When off the Detroit ECM it running the engine. So if they don't see the power box their is nothing changed in the ECM.

    I appreciate the response but Perkins deal is different than PP. He advances the timing of the cam to allow the engine to run for power and economy, not so much emissions. This involves actually drilling the cam gear and a ecm flash. Already have the ported manifold / turbo
    Just trying to find her potential not her limit, I'm leary of the PP box

    I wouldn't mess with the cam timing. It's way better (and safer) to just change to a better cam. What's in there now?
