If you are truly a family "one" unit, it can work. Guaranteed. Quote me on that. Look at @blairandgretchen ... look at @miss elvee .... (and her Mister.) Not sure, but @pattyj may have even done it for awhile.

blairandgretchen and miss elvee Thank this.

It was all about work.If he wanted more I wouldn't have teamed with him.It was a driver owner op that I met on MSN messenger we talked for a few weeks met in council bluffs talk some more and then started. the paperwork process. He hauled exoctic cars.interesting hauling I enjoyed it.

In the end, it worked...even though it was short lived. I drag the wife around to team with me when needed; just nobody to put the 13 y/o on the bus because he's LAZY. Seriously, it's do able.
When I worked that year for FedEx/LineHaul, forced to team with "bobby" under our contractor, . . . . man, I did everything I could do to make it work, for the money.
Would I do it again, NOPE. With the wife person? Probably not even that.
She's wanting to team with somebody somewhere, but I'm not the guy. I just wish her well at this point, ya know?
I'm done with OTR and she wants to "go fly her wings..." I guess....!
Good for ya, gal. We do what we gotta do, however.

We will make it work. At least until we accomplish our goals.

Wife and I may argue, but when it comes to trucking..we kick butt. Look at the Garage thread in social. We may be running to Florida to pull recon for her family.........Irma. Can't go now, got a 379 on the ready when we can. No money, just expenses ... when y'all get set up, you'll get the rewards of your measures. It's gotta be a MUTUAL effort..... all I can say.
    Wish you the best.

Sure thing, just let us know. Good luck, driver. And btw, I agree, she should learn how to shift.
