if you're peeing and crapping in ziplock bags then you have no business in trucking. that's just bottom of the barrel, scumbag behavior. just plain lazyness, it doesnt take but a few minutes to use the restroom.

I don't crap in my truck. How long have you been out here? Or are you one of those guys that pisses in the truck stop parking lot? Or at the dock at the shipper? As far as using a ZipLoc bag, it is the best solution I have found when nature calls and you are parked on a side street in Detroit waiting to get into a plant. Or when it is raining like hell, or when you are a women in a rough area that is already nervous about her surroundings. I had a women driver in one of my trucks, I told HER to buy the one gallon ZipLoc Freezer Bags and find a coffee can. She still thanks me for that, and yes, she was once accosted in truck stop parking lot while on her way to the ladies room.

As far as disposing of the bags, they go in the trash can in my truck with the 13 gallon Glad bags. From there they go into the DUMPSTER at the truck stop.

Nice to know you live in such a perfect world, but out here in Realville, the ZipLoc bags can literally be a life saver.

Anywho... Hope you don't forget your sheets and a pillow. It can be uncomfortable without. Twin XL. Might want to buy detergent and drier sheets at a walmart or something instead of at the truck stop.

if you have time to walk to the dumpster then you have time to walk to the restroom. bet you make plenty of time to get that greasy slice of pizza or that roller grill dog that's been sitting since yesterday.

What is it that you do? Not knocking you, friend...it just sounds like your job takes you well off the beaten path. You have a system that works for you, and it comes from experience.

The first time I ever got involved with a crane move, I had to go up in the Catskills Mtns to get a load of crane mats. There were hundreds of trucks there. It was winter and snow and ice, freakin cold outside, no buildings of any sort, no restaurants in walking distance, no way out with the truck until you loaded (trucks were stacked in there). It took 2 days. 2 full days, waiting. The guys who aren't prepared suffer. I suffered. And I learned to be prepared for anything.

Alright, I'll play. Are you kidding me? You want to argue this? I don't live or work in a truck stop, and I am rarely near a toilet in my line of work, when I am, of course I use it.

I have told many drivers about using ZipLoc Freezer bags, and they all to a man and woman have thanked me! I have been using them for nearly 30 years out here. Beets using that #### gallon jug most guys use, the ones that get us thrown out of places like Walmart. ZipLocks are easily and discreetly disposed of and they work. And if you are running team on a hot load, they save time. If you are in a bad area, they can save your life.

I don't know what you do, but it sure does not sound like trucking, or anything I have experienced out here. From the sounds of it, I have more miles backing than you do driving.

I have hauled those mats, and spent quite a few years in the patch up in ND, also in Alaska, darn cold in the winter. ;-) Right now, auto parts, Detroit, expedite, run mainly Michigan, but do occasionally run into Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana. I spend quite a bit of time in areas where there are no facilities for a driver, like sitting on a curb on a side street. And unfortunately, due to truck drivers that are far from civilized in their bathroom usage, many facilities will not allow the use of their men's rooms. And seeing what I have out here, I honestly cannot blame them.

And yes, it is wise to be prepared. Which was the entire point to my original post.
